T. A. Loving Completes the 816 Space UNC-CH Jackson Circle Parking Deck Two Weeks Ahead of Schedule

Doctors, teachers and staff began parking at the Jackson Circle Parking Deck on August 15, 2006.  This 14 month, 18 million dollar project was completed two weeks ahead of schedule.

• Excavated 67,000 cubic yards of rock and dirt
• Removed 7,000 cubic yards of unsuitable soil and replaced with lean concrete
• Installed 800 feet of water lines
• Installed 850 feet of electrical/telecom duct banks
• Installed over 2,850,000 pounds of reinforcement
• Placed 22,725 cubic yards of concrete
