T. A. Loving Company to Lead Beaufort County Hospital Modernization & Expansion Project

Beaufort County Hospital’s 38,612 square foot renovation and expansion project will include a new surgical suite, visitors’ lobby and support space.  When the project is complete in 2008, surgeons will have new, state-of-the-art surgical facilities in which to work.  The surgical addition will enable physicians to perform a wide range of surgical procedures from minimally invasive techniques to complex operations. 

In addition, the new lobby will include a gift shop, coffee shop, and a spacious seating area for visitors.  This renovation project will help Beaufort County Hospital better serve the needs of its’ patients and visitors.

The new surgical suite will include:

• Five new operating rooms
• An 8-bay inpatient recovery area
• A 24-bay outpatient recovery area
• Surgical support areas
