David Philyaw

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

David Philyaw is President of TA Loving’s Building Business Unit and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.  He has 30 years of construction experience. His focus and expertise include higher education and healthcare, and he has served as the lead construction representative on many of North Carolina’s premier athletic venues.

David is a 1998 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management. He is active within the industry and serves as an Executive Council Member of ECU’s Construction Management Advisory Board. David is also a member of Carolinas AGC and participates in the AIA/CAGC Committee. He holds certifications/credentials from a number of industry groups, including Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the American Institute of Constructors, the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), and the Design-Build Institute of America.
